Recovery Services of Tampa Bay

Housing for Men, Women and Youth

About Us:

Recovery Services of Tampa Bay is a Faith-Based Non-Profit Organization, We are on a mission to be the home of choice for those currently struggling with Housing. We provide this much-needed service with dignity and respect. We are here to help change the lives of those needing a fresh new start. We are here to support them and assist them while getting back on their feet.

We will assist in seeking permanent housing for those who have completed the program and are ready to have their own place.

We provide a Transitional Housing, but in the event that someone is unable to become completely independent and move on. They are welcomed to stay in our Supportive Housing. This is a plus for those receiving only disability income and unable to work. As this may provide the only economical solution.

Our Director Albert Socorro has been assisting in the Community by providing low-income housing to families and individuals since 2007. Later in 2011, he joined Recovery Services of Tampa Bay that was established to meet the needs in Hillsborough County for providing a safe and clean housing environment for single men, women and married couples. We also provide a full array of resources available in the community to our participant's fingertips to help them succeed.

Our current population being served:

Men, women, and Youth that are struggling or Homeless

Persons with physical and mental disabilities or limitations

Persons exiting drug or alcohol addiction programs

Veterans and Veterans and their families

Youth 18-24 yrs old (aging out of the Foster care system)

Our facility consists of apartment units and houses and at full capacity, we can assist approx 40 persons.

Recovery Services of Tampa Bay knows the only way for a non-profit to succeed in accomplishing its mission is with the support of the Community agencies, Churches and the generous support of community members giving back to the Community.

We are currently working on strengthening our relationship to become well-rooted in the Community. As a result, this will enable us to provide a better array of resources and assistance without duplicating the efforts of other service organizations. We are proud to state that a high percentage of all of our participants come from Churches, State Agencies and personal referrals.

Below is a list of some Agencies we are currently working with and receiving referrals;
